This report is a conceptual outline of an estate to be developed in Cameron Highlands,Pahang State,Malaysia.The development is called 89 Acre Wood ,the name being adopted from the name of the home of Winnie -the-Pooh ,the famous children's storybook character who lives in 100 Acre Wood.The Cameron Highlands site itself is 89 acres.

Cameron Highlands,a resort area in west-central West Malaysia,is approximately 200km south of southernmost tip of Thailand and about 130km north of Kuala Lumpur ,Malaysia..Cameron Highlands is a cool highland plateau with an elevation of 4750 feet (1448m),developed by the British in the 1940s as a hill station and name for William Cameron,who explored the area in 1885.Hundreds of floral species rare to the tropics thrive in the mean annual temperature of 64F(18C).

89 Acre Wood is nestled in Mukim of Ringlet in Cameron Highlands.It is highly accessible ,being located to the north-east of Ringlet town and at the northern side of Jalan Boh,the access road leading to the Boh Tea Plantation.

The Land

The 89 Acre Wood site is beautiful and richly varied ,with its hills and valleys,it provides a variety of micro-environments-exposed ridges and plateaus,secluded and protected gullies,verdant river valleys fed by three rivers that run through the land.

MASTERPLAN WALKTHROUGH

The walkthrough starts when the visitor turns off the main road leading to Boh estate's Fairlie plantation,and crosses a bridge spanning the rushing waters of the Sungei Ulong onto the southwestern edge of the land site.The entry to the 89 Acre Wood estate will be clearly marked by a landscaped feature incorporating the indigenous flora of the land.
